USED RUBBER USA is now in its 25th YEAR! We pioneered the idea of transforming waste inner tube into fashionable products in 1984 and we have been paving the way ever since with innovative eco-modern design & education! Our wallets, bags, and accessories are made from reclaimed inner tubes, a high-quality industrial rubber. We primarily use waste truck tubes, the kind kids swim or sled with, but obviously wouldn't cut one up that could still be used for such sport. We also work with car, motorcycle, and bicycle tubes. For the last 8 years much of the focus of Used Rubber USA has been on education. Through workshops and classes we have been able to advance sustainability in design and promote the acceptance of non traditional materials such as reclaimed inner tube rubber. As a result our website looks much the same as it did many years ago. We apologize for the small pictures! We are planning a significant update to the pictures and information for 2010 and a renewed focus on our own design work.
